The Black Obsidian Scrying Mirror (Part2)

Post in English and French / Post en Anglais et en Français

I found several graphic version of the mirror.. According to Poke Runyon's works, the Triangle of Art (mirror) must be located as Outside the circle, at waist level.. I am firmly convinced that the mirror and the triangle of evocation of art, are actualy the same things in two different ways to use the triangle: one could use a round mirror inside a wooden triangle; either by drawing triangle itself on the floor..

I think that Ye triangle of arte (or evocation triangle) can be used in different ways:

- 1) Manufacture a triangular mirror (traditionally use Obsidian). Once magically charged, and properly consecrated, the mirror will be able to serve as a gate for the spirits/demons, ideal tool for the evocation.. One will use the miror like a gate towards the astral plan or even sub-lunary plan..

- 2) Ye Triangle of Arte (or Evocation Triangle) will be to draw or better; engraved on the ground. The triangle is to be placed toward that quarter "whereunto the Spirit belongeth". And the base of the triangle is to be nearest unto the Circle, the apex pointing in the direction of the quarter of the Spirit.Observe thou also the Moon in thy working, as aforesaid, etc. Anaphaxeton is sometimes written Anepheneton. According to this configuration, the spirit or the demon will be able to appear in an astral form or to better try to assume a form of condensed matter that can be visible.

This is the Form of the Magical Triangle, into the which Solomon did command the Evil Spirits. It is to be made at 2 feet distance from the Magical Circle and it is 3 feet across. (Colours. - Triangle outlined in black; name of Michael black on white ground; the three Names without the triangle written in red; circle in centre entirely filled in in dark green.)

Voici la forme du triangle magique, dans lequel Salomon a commandé les mauvais esprits. Il doit être fait à 2 pieds de distance du cercle magique et il sera de 3 pieds de diamètre.(Couleurs. - Triangle en contour noir;. le nom de Michael de couleur noir sur fond blanc, les trois noms écrits en rouge, le cercle dans son centre entièrement remplis en vert foncé).

3 sacred words are engraved on the triangle sides:
3 mots sacrés sont gravés sur les côtés du triangle:

ANEPHEZATON (ANAPHAXETON): Thou great God of all the heavently host.
TETRAGRAMMATON: Thou God of almighty power be ever present with us to guard us and protect us and let thy holy presence be now and always with us.
PRIMEUNATON: Thou who art the first and last let all spirits be subject to us and let the spirit be bound in this Triangle that disturbs this place.

Malah777 gives an interesting explanation:

Anaphaxeton -One of the three Greek divine name that surround the Triangle of Art."Great G-d of all the Heavenly Hosts ".A high holy angel Of G-d ,Anaphaxeton was also a name for deity used by Aaron.

Anaphaxeton (Anaphazeton,Arpheton,Hipeton,Oneipheton ) - one of the holy angels of G-d invoked in magical rites.Anaphaxeton is the name which, when pronounced ,will cause the angels to summon the whole universe before the bar of justice on Judgment Day .He is also a spirit to be invoked in the exorcism of the water.

Primeumaton -" Thou who art the First and the Last " .One of the Greek three Greek names that surround the Triangle of Art. or a spirit invoked in the exorcism of water.By this name "Primeumaton" Moses caused hail in Egypt !

AHYH - or Ahyh Asr Ahyh -(in Hebrew is "HYHA" -spelled right to left ) - Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh - "I will be what I will be"

ADNI - Adonai -" My Lord, My Master " - name used as a substitute for the sacred Tetragrammaton "Adonai YHVH "

"Here are the results of my research across modern, biblical, and ancient Greek lexicons:
Ana = by, through
Pheneros = manifest, to make clear (although modern usage seems to indicate 'obvious' or 'clear')
Phos = light

Words beginning with a 'phax' or 'phex' root seem to indicate light as well.

Phexe (Phi-Epsilon-Xi-Eta) = daybreak
Pheximo (Phi-Epsilon-Xi-Iotta-Mu-Omicron) = lightning
Primos = first (the ancient definition I found was similar to the Latin "primus")
Prin = before

Possible interpretations of the words when assembled:

Anaphaxeton = through/by the light
Anapheneton = through/by the manifestation
As for the Second name:

Primeumaton ...the word might originally have been something like Primoimaiton or Prinoimaiton. ...
Greek words beginning with oi (omicron-iotta), ancient Greek the word Oimai, meaning 'think'
or possibly indicating 'thought'. That might give the following possible meanings:

Prinoimaiton = before thought?
Primoimaiton = the first thought?
He also did some footwork in corresponding with several University professors in Sydney Australia on the subject.

Responses included:

"ANAPHENETON: Perhaps should be ANAPHAINETON: something that has been lit up

PRIMEUMATON: Looks like a combo Greco-Latin word. PRIMA (Latin) = "first"; EU
(Greek) = "good" (in
the qualitative sense, not moral); MA (Greek) = noun-making particle; TON
(Greek) = diminutive
ending. ==> "first good thing" ????"

"I would take the second one as a phonetic spelling of anaphaineton, so 'making known, revealing', something like that...

The Latin element in the third word is prim- 'first' eumaton MAY be eumathon which would mean 'easily learnt'"

And: Aԁna in Arabic means I am. Somehow the first word makes me think of the Sufis. The meaning in Arabic then would be similar to Greek, but much more.
