Here is another very interesting grimoire; 'Fasciculus Rerum Geomanticarum'; (Translt: 'a small collection of Geomantic items'): also know as Ms Plut 89 Sup 38. (Thanx to Adam Forrest for pointing me the 'title' error.. I've found the work of Frank Klaassen very interesting, so I decided to repost here, only the part concerning the Ms Plut 89 Sup 38.. Manuscripts of Astrological Image Magic // Copyright Frank Klaassen 2002. First let's watch some pages of this large Ms and then we gonna have an overview on some pages true content.. An early 15th century* Latin and Italian spell book, containing astrological lore and spirits later found the Goetia. Despite the title, there is not much of a focus on geomancy (although it is present). (* 1401-1410; 1491-1500 ?).

From the book 'Invoking Angels: Theurgic Ideas and Practices' by Claire Fanger:
The term Exorcistor appears many times in the Clavicula Salomonis and De quator anulis referring to the master who wishes to compel the demons (in De quator anulis the word Artifex is also used).
De Quatore Anulis is largely found in lots of (Solomonic) grimoires and MSs (Italian/French/English..) Ms Sloane 3847, Leipzig 739 (DCCXXXIX) or even the Ms York, Austin Friars A8 362..
One version missing to my collection is entitled: 'Canterbury, St Augustine's Abbey, 1538 (cf. 1603) Catalogue: 1497. De quatuor annulis'..

Conjurations. Presumably the continuation of another text at least partly concerning the detection of stolen goods. Previous article ends at quire end and picks up in a later quire suggesting re-ordering.

Imago ad lucrum
|
The text moves directly into orationes planetarum each of which begins with the formula " In nomine domini et creatoris potentissimi". Each planet is followed by the sigils of the planets. Saturn:O tu domine saturne alte revolutor....
Jupiter: Jupier callidus et humidus benevolus et ..... Sun: O dum luceus pro...(?) Venus: O tu vere domina amorum et... Mercury: O tu mercurij planete velox sapiens... Moon: O lumen fulgoris O domina luna nobis...
Mars appears to be missing from the text.
The text breaks at 77v and picks up again at 99v As this is at the end of a quire, one presumes that quire 12 originally followed quire 9.

An Italian conjuring manual. Begins imperfectly in the middle of a list of spirits. Fairly standard stuff. The invocations are in Italian. Concludes with a list of spirits and their sigils which begins (47v) "belcabuho, oriens amaymon egin" and ends (51r) "abzaeli, balzac lucifer." Separate hand from surrounding. This may have been added to the quire containing the preceding article. I was unable to determine the position of folios 34 and 35.
